Cancellation & Billing Policy
Business-to-Business Service Notice
Basely is supplied to businesses, not consumers. Statutory consumer protections such as the Consumer Rights Act 2015 (Part 1) and the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 apply to individual consumers and do not apply to your purchase of Basely. This Cancellation & Billing Policy, together with our Terms of Service, sets out your cancellation and billing terms in full. Nothing in this policy excludes any liability that cannot be excluded under UK law.
Cancellation & Billing Policy
Last updated: 15 September 2026 — effective 1 October 2026
Basely offers a 60-day free trial for Starter and Professional plans. No payment card is required to start the trial and no card details are collected while it runs. The trial does not convert into a paid plan by itself: when the 60 days end, access to paid features stops and no charge is taken. Billing begins only if you choose a paid plan and provide payment details at that point. One trial per customer — see section 6 of our Terms of Service for how trial eligibility is checked. Enterprise plans are not eligible for self-serve trials and are billed immediately upon activation via admin-granted access or a custom sales quote — Enterprise is not available via self-serve checkout.
Cancelling Your Subscription
You can cancel at any time from your account billing settings, or by emailing support@basely.co.uk. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you keep access until then, and you will not be charged again after that period ends. We do not offer refunds for the remainder of a billing period already paid for; cancelling stops future billing, it does not reverse past charges.
How Billing Works
- Monthly plans bill on the same date each month, starting on the day you choose a paid plan and provide payment details (or immediately for Enterprise). A trial ending does not start billing on its own.
- Annual plans bill once per year on your subscription anniversary.
- You can change plans or cancel at any time from your account billing settings.
Payment Security
When you provide payment details to activate a paid plan, our payment processor (Stripe) handles and stores your card. Basely never receives or stores your card number. Payments are processed by Stripe, a PCI DSS Level 1 certified provider — see our Privacy Policy for how Stripe processes this data.
B2B Service — Statutory Rights
Basely is a business-to-business service. The Consumer Rights Act 2015 (Part 1) and the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 — including the 14-day statutory cooling-off period for consumers — apply to purchases made by individual consumers and do not apply to your purchase of Basely as a business customer. Nothing in this policy affects the statutory rights of anyone who deals with Basely as a consumer under UK law.
