Cookie Policy

1. What Are Cookies

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. We also use similar technologies such as localStorage and session tokens. This policy covers all such technologies.

2. Cookies We Use

Strictly Necessary (no consent required): Clerk authentication session cookies that keep you signed in. These cannot be disabled without breaking core functionality.

Functional (no consent required): Theme preference (dark/light mode), locale, and UI state stored in localStorage.

Analytics (consent required, not currently active): We do not currently deploy analytics or marketing cookies. If we introduce aggregated usage analytics in future, it will be consent-gated and no cross-site tracking or advertising profiles will be built.

3. Your Choices

You can control strictly necessary and functional cookies via your browser settings (note: blocking authentication cookies will prevent sign-in). If we introduce non-essential cookies in future, we will provide a consent banner and preference centre before setting them, and withdrawing consent at that time will not affect processing already done while consent was given.

Questions about cookies: email privacy@basely.co.uk.

4. Third-Party Cookies

Stripe may set cookies to prevent fraud during payment flows. These are subject to Stripe's cookie policy.

5. More Information

To learn more about cookies visit the ICO guidance at ico.org.uk or allaboutcookies.org. This Cookie Policy is part of our Privacy Policy. Last updated: 15 September 2026.
